Zimbabwean professional racing driver and senior race instructor Axcil Jefferies will be racing at the Asian Le Mans Series.
Asian Le Mans Series is an Asian sports car racing endurance series and this year’s series is the ninth edition. Initially, the Asian Le Mans Series was set to be held at Chang International Circuit in Thailand and Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia.
But due to the traveling restrictions affecting Southeast Asia, the entire four-event season will be held at the Yas Marina Circuit this month.
This year’s event will include four four-hour races to be hosted by the Yas Marina Circuit in February. The first two will take place from the 4th to the 6th of February with the other scheduled from the 18th to the 20th of the same month.
The race will be held on two different developments of the track, combining day, dusk, and night races.
Jefferies will be sharing the cockpit with Julien Andlauer and Allan Ferte for GPX racing driving the Porsche.
