Zimbabwe Handball Federation will today conduct an induction workshop for its new board members.
The purpose of the workshop is to introduce the new board members to the technical team. Also, the federation will use this opportunity to prepare for their tenure which will run for the next four years.
Girls High School headmistress Beauty Mtsambiwa was elected President of the federation after she defeated Stewart Sanhewe by seven votes to three last month.
Reginald Tsimba was elected Vice-President while Petros Nyathi and Clemence Tauri were elected board members.
The new board members will be taken through statutes on handball governance. Meanwhile, the new Zimbabwe Handball Federation Executive board met with the Swiss Ambassador this week.
Swiss Ambassador to Zimbabwe Niculin Jager is a huge supporter of the Zimbabwe Handball national team. Swiss Embassy and Zimbabwe Handball Federation signed a partnership on the Vision 2024 project to develop a strong future national team.
