Zimbabwe Bass Federation have announced the squad that will represent the country at the World Fishing Championship that kick start on 09-16 February at Aqua Vaal in South Africa.

Unfortunately Zimbabwe didn’t enter an ladies to participate in the Ladies Coarse Fishing World Championship. Men’s team have registered to participate in 4 categories out of the 15 that the competition has on offer. 50 different countries and over 201 participants will be vying for medals in the Championship.

Egypt, Angola, Swaziland, Tunisia, Namibia, Zimbabwe and host South Africa will be representing the continent. Official opening ceremony kick happens on 09 February with a parade Street Parade from Nelson Mandela Square to Sandton Convention Centre where the official opening ceremony of the games will happen.

Team Zimbabwe will be represented by Fowler Glen, FRASER Gavin, Neil Gula, Andre Robert Kondonis, Barry Launder, Carl Hack, captained by Orphanides Strati and Carl Hack is the team manager #SeekerOfAllThingsSports wishes team Zimbabwe tight lines
