Zimbabwean sprinter Ngoni Makusha clinched two medals and recorded a seasonal best at the All-Comers Meet in Zambia.

Makusha efforts in the 100m were good enough to earn him a silver medal at the event.

The 26-year-old also ran a seasonal best of 20.56 in the 200M. Despite missing a podium finish by a few second, Makusha was impressed with the seasonal best.

“The race was quite competitive but, I am glad I managed to run a seasonal best. I am now working towards reducing this seasonal best.”

Ngoni Makusha, Gerren Muwishi, Makanakaishe Charamba and Dickson Kamu became gold-medal winners in the relay event.

Makusha is aiming to compete in Mauritius on 30 April before he and his relay teammates focus on the World Relay Championship in May.
