The going might have been tough at the All Africa games but Zimbabwean MTB rider Stacy Hyslop seems to have implemented all that she learnt during the tournament to practice.

Hyslop who is currently studying towards a BHSC Biokinetics at the Nelson Mandela University was one of the two foreign riders who took part in the FNB Wine2Whales Pinotage event this past weekend.

The Wine2Whales is one of South Africa big and popular stage race and this year organisers combined the event with the Varsity Sports. This meaning the best universities compete for the top varsity place.

Competing in the Varsity sports category Hyslop proved that she is a force to reckon with after she finished on 4th position in stage 1 57km race and 2 63km and then later went on to finish 2nd in the final stage that was a 69km finishing 3rd overall out of the 23 riders and swooping the bronze medal.
