FC Platinum has been pushing for the strongest testing, tracing, and treatment protocols to keep their players safe from covid-19.

Whilst most netball teams are yet to test their players for covid-19, Platinum  Queens are undergoing covid-19 testing regularly. In compliance with government and club regulations, FC Platinum set up a covid-19 compliance team. This team ensures that they are compliant in all aspects which include education, screening, player testing, and result recording.

Zvishavane based club are stepping up their efforts to limit the spread of the virus. According to the club spokesperson Chido Chizondo, the club testing protocol is one of the critical factors that will help them return to the court safely since players are being tested weekly.

Netball clubs have received close to zero financial support from their national sports association. This has seen FC Platinum catering for all the expenses involved in the player testing. The first batch of covid-19 tests conducted on the players all came out negative. For the time being, the team is still depending on online training sessions hoping to resume physical training sessions soon.
