Zimbabwe has been hosting the ITF Future Men’s Tournament this past week at Harare Sports Club.

Former Junior African Champion Takanyi Garanganga won the first leg of the ITF Future Men’s tournament award UNDEFEATED. The ITF Future men’s tournament is a two leg tennis tournament that features tennis players from all over the globe.

Entering the tournament as the top seeded player Takanyi impressed winning all his games in the first leg. Played in the final against unseeded Canadian Martin Beran who he defeated 6-3, 6-4

Speaking after his win Takanyi said he was impressed with his performance and highlighted that when he entered to participate in the tournament he had one aim which was to win the championship. Its my ninth single circuit win therefore I am looking forward to more of this next week.
