After netting, a brace in the China Taiping CFA Women’s Super League opener against league debutant Sichuan last week in form Malawi international Temwa continued the 2021 season on a high note.
The Malawian international continued her goal-scoring spree and is showing no signs of slowing down after she found the back of the net twice today.
Wuhan Jiangda took the lead in the 32nd minute of the game through a Temwa Chawinga strike. Ten minutes later Shandong Ticai defender Shao Dan netted a goal past her goalkeeper.
Chawinga then made the victory certain when she scored the third in the 47th minute. Gu Yasha then scored Wuhan Jiangda last goal in the 85th minute. Shandong Ticai is yet to record a win this season after they draw 3-3 with Beijing BG Phoenix in the first round.
Chawinga moved her goal tally to four in 2 games this season and is currently the leading top goalscorer whilst her team Wuhan Jiangda moves up the log to position one with the same point as Changchun Dazhong Zhuoyue but an infer goal difference.
