Malawi national netball team towering shooter, Joyce Mvula continued with her consistency for Manchester Thunder in the Vitality Netball Super League.

Following their narrow defeat against Team Bath earlier this week reigning champions Manchester Thunder are back to winning ways. Ahead of the clash against Celtic Dragons, Mvula had scored 374 goals with a scoring rate of 93.5% in just twelve appearances.

It all happening for Malawi’s netball star as she continues to push higher and higher in the international arena. Mvula continues to win the technical team trust after her impressive performance against Celtic Dragons last night.

The game between the two teams was very competitive but reigning champions Manchester Thunder prevailed by 54 to 40 baskets. And Joyce Mvula’s shoot rate in the game was 97% this becoming the best shooting rate recorded in the league this season.

For her impressive performance, the Malawian international walked away with the Cardiff Metropolitan University ‘Player of the Match’ award.
